Oxhey Jets v Coldstream Guards @3pm - the hosts had one of their players killed while on active service in Afghanistan 10 years ago. As a result, they hold a Poppy Match on Remembrance Weekend to raise funds for the Royal British Legion. This year their opponents are the Coldstream Guards. It's £5 to get in.

What an occasion yesterday at the Boundary Stadium with well over 400 present, hopefully View from the Boundary was one of them so he can tell us about it:

I'm just out of shot to the right, a blessing for all concerned!

Was a wonderful afternoon, very moving and inclusive with many groups laying wreaths, a piper and of course the Last Post and a beautifully observed 2 minutes silence. The disabled stand was unveiled in Tom's memory as well, by his mum and the Senior officer (programme not to hand so idk who that was).

A record crowd of 438 saw the Guards concede 6 without reply, but on a day like this the football was incidental.
