Hello fellow predictors - Welcome Back.  Happy New Year.  And any other platitudes of your choice.

I trust you are rested and raring to go, with suitably restructured squads after applying the harsh lessons from the Autumn season.  Let’s hope we can perform as sublimely as the Chins’ rip-roaring start to 2022.  Top of the Form League with 6 wins from the last 6 eh?  Great stuff.

The new prediction season sees seasoned campaigners MikeMike, Cuppa-T, Paul C, and, more surprisingly, Dinamo Urchin, catapulted up into the FA Trophy Division, with Urchin Queen, Adrian, UrchinYid and Diamond Geezer slipping back into the abyss of the Vase section.  But it’s a nice clean slate as we start the new season, so good luck to everyone.  Normal 14 week season, plus play-offs for 4th-7th in Div 2.

The Dummy Team is still available for a new joiner, but if nobody pitches up we have an anonymous “sponsorship” offer pending, with a slightly jazzed up predicting regime.  All will be revealed before Saturday 15th if the Dummies remain unloved ... but please let me or Jordan or Simon (CuppaT) know if you do want to take them over.  Whattsapp predicting is available if you prefer – though you do miss out on all the bantz on here.  Such that it is.

btw, TLA is my favourite TLA, same as the dictionary entry for recursive reading "see recursive" (fans of differential and integral calculus will also be excited)

Many apologies.  I forgot the most important part of my original post. 

Yes, the official photo of Luke's proudest ever moment, accepting the Autumn trophy from a rather bemused looking Sir Colin.  I understand Luke has created a dedicated trophy room in his new abode especially to display it.  Though it will also be on loan to his second team, Newcastle, for a short period as their cabinet is looking sadly empty at the moment.
