Might only have been a little snow, Fleet Fanatic, but caused chaos again, with 4 failed trains I believe between Rochester and Swanley. The other option was to go North Kent Line and that had the fun of the bus service between Strood and Higham.

Incidentally, you mentioned "8 hours off" earlier - isnt your job like being off 24 hours a day ?? <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

8 days off actually.

A little snow? In last 30 mins it has settled and there's at least an inch or 2 out there - and the snowflakes are still tumbling down!

Told you it would come.....

And so Britain comes to a shuddering halt.

I'm supposed to be in Germany tomorrow and the airport's shut. How the hell do planes take off in Norway and we can't manage with an inch or two?

Will tomorrow's Sun headline be: 'Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrritain' yet again?

Where are you going from?today, stansted, luton, gatwick all ahut for a period, and heathrow went down to one runway. There were a lot of diversions from these airfields to exeter, bournemouth, bristol lullsgate and east mids etc. So your aircraft might be out of position for a while.

After leaving Gravesend at 6am yesterday, I eventually arrived in Faversham at 10:15am. (Normally arrive at 7:45am). This was due to adverse weather conditions. Which looked more like quarter of an inch of snow if that.

At what point does it go from being cold, to adverse weather conditions? Is it the moment a train becomes delayed?
