Well what a great night of football we played some good stuff in the first half but found ourselves down from 2 set pieces, second half game seem to be drifting away then the substitutions and 2 late goal que the pandemonium on the east side,on the down side the Enfield fans made it a good atmosphere until they went behind punches were thrown I was hit by a can there were our young fan base just yards away from it all, shame really never associated the Towners with anything like that anyway didn't spoil a brilliant result up the Urchins

Cracking game, always thought that Hornchurch were the better side however.

Was a pen for the first goal but the ref got it wrong for the free kick for the second (good goal though). Their goalkeeper was the man of the match , some outrageous saves there which just about kept Enfield ahead. Good subs by the gaffer and some sustained pressure in the second half earned it’s rewards.

Deserved win , good performances all around (Liam Nash put some work in, wow) .

As for the altercations at the end, think it was kids so don’t want to tar the excellent away support with the same brush and the stewards had a wander over to calm the situation down .

good result, put the Bognor result to bed and possibly laid down a marker by beating a team that will be there or thereabouts come the end of the season

Wow What an excellent game of football if you want to judge a season or a team on 1 game of football then all i can say is that if the Urchins play with this fighting spirit and style off football every game this season then your looking at a top 3 place contending for promotion or even the title.

A fantastic team performance all round and every player did their part to bring home a deserved 3 points.

didn't think it was a penalty, or at least was a bit soft but Enfield second was defiantly not a foul or a free kick but a well timed tackle however the resultant free kick was excellent

As for the 3 Urchin goals they were all fantastic well taken and the only blemish on this result is how did the lads not score many more in both halves as the team dominated possession and large parts of the game.

MOM for me divided between Sam Higgins and Kenny Clark both of whom were excellent and controlled play in their own areas of the game so effectively that it allowed the rest of the team to play freely around them and create so many opportunities to score.

it's great to get 3 points on the board and now we need to regroup for Saturday and continue building early season momentum.

Up The Urchins, and well done on a fantastic win.

Well done you urchins .Keep it up . Sad you had some agro last night. Not sure what caused it as townies aren't usually a trouble type club. We don't like them and they don't us but never had agro problems with them. Hope you make it to the NLS this time.

What a game of football , both great teams , both keepers played outstanding, but we dominated more than them and that’s why we thoroughly deserved the win and the three points!
move now to Saturday at home Vs Hastings Utd!!!

come on You Urchins
