Exactly! I’d love to hear the official explanation. Be interesting to know what the extra mileage is for them in the north.

Obviously arrange depending on who wins the playoffs in both leagues but

Merthyr mileage

- NLS - 7886 to 7952

- NLN - 8528 to 8714

Hemel mileage

- NLS - 3226 to 3334

- NLN - 7688 to 7728

Interestingly the sides who would have the next closest mileage difference (NLS v NLN) are Weston/Bath - the pattern being that both of those plus Merthyr would be some of the highest mileage sides in the NLS due to the fact they are that far west

So we get to keep Maidstone on the fixture list and say goodbye to Boreham Wood.

It’s a split division next season, there’s 3 groups of clubs and unfortunately we’ll probably be in the bottom set and that’s being realistic and not negative as some may view it. If we stay up I’m ok with that.

I think we need to see what our new signings look like but a high turn over of players is not normally a good thing.

Good riddance. Thought Boreham Wood were the worst fans to come to our place this season and from all reports, they treat away fans pretty poorly at their ground also. Long may they stay away.

They aren't much different to most NL clubs unfortunately. Away fans are very much 2nd class from my experience. It's a strange feeling to be regarded as trouble makers rather than fellow supporters. Recent visits to Woking, Bromley, Boring Wood, Ebbsfleet, Kidderminster have all provided sub standard treatment. I do think the Boring Wood scrotes top the list for worst fans though, so definitely good riddance.
