Ive spent the day in Minehead  still there but I always keep my eye on the Rebels score maybe other(s) will answer your queries.

Alright would be my summary. Missing Reiss (knee but possibly OK for next week, Tyrese - sounds like won't be fit, Kiki - family engagement and Wiktor - suspended for first 3 games so getting minutes at Langley.)

Wealdstone had much the better of the first half scoring from a  poorly defended corner and a reverse pass that was deflected through Adam's hands.

Much more even second half. Jared forced a good save from their keeper and Jaiden scored a Scotty special from his own half.

Adam made a few good saves including a penalty.

In summary, as you'd expect against higher level opposition away from home a hard game but not one we were totally out of.

My view of the game:

A big dip in performance in comparison to Tuesdays game.

Wealdstone were in command for all of the first half which ended with us conceding two poorly defended goals.

We did improve in the second half but only some great saves from Adam Desbois, including a penalty save, kept the score respectable.

In mitigation we were missing some important players in both of our center backs and in attack with our strike force being pretty much non existent when it came to shots on target only testing their keeper once from a Jared Myers effort and a superb goal from Jaiden Drakes-Thomas lobbing the keeper from inside our half.

Probably unavoidable but still disappointing that we could only muster up 4 subs which included one trialist.

We did have 3 players starting for Langley today. With Wiktor missing for the first 3 and Jordan yet to score I’m a little concerned on our attacking prowess.

I know of two Wiktor and Josh Adepoju but with a light bench I'm not sure why they were playing for Langley?

Perhaps they were guaranteed more minutes?

Noah Hay was the other. I can understand Noah and Josh playing for Langley as they’re getting vital senior football as they’d only be on our bench but Wiktor could have played for us yesterday considering he missed the previous 2.

My view on that is that SD is probably trying to give Jordan as many minutes as he can to get him firing.

It’s fairly obvious. Jordan needs minutes. Wiktor is suspended for the first 3 games so we aren’t going to prioritise minutes for him right now over someone else. Having the chance to get 90 minutes for Langley yesterday was perfect for everyone, rather than possibly nick 15 minutes at Wealdstone. It keeps him sharp for when he’s back. He will play the next 2 or 3 for Langley.

So Wiktor can play for Langley whilst he’s suspended for us? I thought one ban covered any league/level?

Just looked at the rules and as usual it's never clear.

But it does say something along the lines of the player must serve his suspension before playing in any league.
