From doubters to believers

Who would have thought little old Hornchurch turning over these full time teams. To be fair Dorking could have been 3 up before we got going.and once we got going we were the better team no mom great team performance brilliant attendance,up the Urchins

Agreed. I think if they had got their noses in front we'd have struggled to get a result.

Didn’t see most of the first half but by all accounts they were in control. We had a bit of pressure near the end of the half with a few consecutive corners but generally it was the away side in control and there was one attack that must be been inches from crossing the line. Wasn’t the same second half we were breaking quickly and that resulted in a number of fouls given away and three yellow cards for them who were all subbed possibly to protect them. So pleased with the passing game we are playing with the occasional long ball to mix it up, lovely to watch some of the interplay from us. Think this is my favourite result of the season, even better than the wsm game (and look where they are now!) well done Hornchurch

[chuckle]

Dorking went straight for the jugular from kick-off, but the urchins survived the early pressure to become the better side as the game progressed. Fantastic team spirit and good football are making everything hunky dory at the moment, long may it continue.

Great result, big crowd.. Whats the record for a Tuesday night game?

I am going to say that was the best team we have played all season (even better than wsm) and I fully expect them to creep up the table based on that
