Hertingfordbury Park, ninth ground share so far?!

Credit and sympathy where it’s due. Enfield 1893/Enfield FC must have the world record for the most ground share arrangements since leaving a club’s home ground? I think their ground shares since leaving Southbury Road currently stands at nine over the last 25 years; Bishop’s Stortford, Borehamwood, Brimsdown Rovers, Broxbourne Borough V&E, Cheshunt, Harlow Town, Hertford Town, St Albans City and Ware. Have I missed any? 

I’ve just re-read ‘Capital Crimes’ ahead of this weekend’s ‘Enfield’ derby cup tie. Published in 2004, it still makes unpleasant reading for supporters on both sides of our original club’s divide. I now feel more empathy with long suffering Enfield 1893/Enfield FC fans than I did when I first became a Towner in our second season (2002/03). 

Good luck tomorrow Enfield Town FC, what a fascinating cup tie this should be!

What I’ll say is well done to Enfield FC for getting to this round of the cup, irrespective of how many grounds they have shared. They’ve certainly clocked up the miles.

Really looking forward to the game tomorrow.

Of course DoY we all chose our own path and both teams should be celebrated, both teams are run my commited Enfield fans past and present.

We all have a shared disgust for a certain individual who doesn't deserve to be named

EFC have never played at Cheshunt in a ground share arrangement .

A couple of pre season friendlies v Football League opposition   ( Millwall and Charlton )if my memory serves me correctly , The bald headed manager and the Gobby  blonde woman arranged to hire the stadium back then . They haven't been back since.
