Big test for Winslow tonight, Dunstable will be there or thereabouts at the end of the season so it’ll be a good measuring stick tonight. I’m still hopeful that Winslow will have a decent midtable finish, it’s good to get points on the board early like we have and like last season.

A groundhopper from another Forum was at this thriller at Dodd Road:

Ventured into deepest, darkest North Watford for this cage style artificial venue. On the plus side it has a reasonable clubhouse and facilities, plus a small covered standing area in the club colours.
The match certainly made up for any atmosphere that was lacking, with both teams playing some good football.
The visitors kept falling behind every time they got a foothold back in the game and were disappointed not to at least get a point.
Walked to and from Watford Junction, the quickest route home, despite the North station being slightly nearer the ground it gets only an hourly service.
