I'd take that. Not easy but its a good pitch and we played well there last time. 

Its a bit odd because the FA site said we were in the Northern section. I was expecting Gateshead.

I'll take that over Gateshead or Carlisle away - the FA did two sensible things in one day!

Whilst we're currently flying high above Slough on goal difference, I'd have to class us as underdogs for this tie by virtue of playing away from home.

Still, its nice to have avoided either a potential banana skin against the likes of Farnham, Whitstable or Chatham OR trips to the likes of Truro, Aldershot, Forest Green or Yeovil.

I'd not heard about the late switch to the Southern section so when they called ball 23 I thought the Towners were on our way to Spennymoor Town! Certainly winnable at Slough Town in the first match or should we need a replay! A good draw all round, bring it on!

We changed from number 23 in the Northern to number 36 in the southern draw. think we were only in the Northern originally because of Quorn. Once Town were awarded the tie an hour before the draw, the FA seem to have switched us around late in the day

Billericay will be on their way to Spennymoor following their replay win over Hednesford last night.

Don't forget the winners will be guaranteed a place in the First Round Proper - so at least another £15k if they lose at that stage (hence £33,375).

Given that the Chairman has undertaken to invest half of any prize money back into the playing squad, it would probably take a win in the First Round Proper to make a real appreciable difference to the playing squad. Still, it all helps!

In short, theres a fair amount of money riding on the outcome of this game.

I fancy our chances - not because Slough aren't a decent side - but because there has to be more expectation and pressure on them in this situation.
