Hello again. We’ve made it to the half way point with, for once, no managerial casualties – though Pat and Baby Jago must be in serious jeopardy.   The wheels have well and truly fallen off at Connemara Avenue, with Pat now under official warning for the flagrant infringement of rule 5.2 (lines inserted between the scores) – despite my friendly nudges to correct in time.

I wouldn’t mind but it means I’ve had to resurrect the “adjustment” column on the league tables – last seen when CuppaTea did actually cock it up so many times that points were deducted.  Pat isn’t quite there – yet!

What else happened?  Well Mr D won the derby with Marta rather more easily than the bookies expected, thereby regaining top spot from Clive on goals scored.  And I beat Lady Jago in the other family showdown – so well done us MEN.

In Div 2 the seemingly impossible may happen – yes Dinamo has gone top. But credit where it’s due – he was just 2 off on the crowd, nearly as good as MikeMike’s “1-off” earlier in the season.  Talking of crowd predictions, Diamond Geezer managed to come up with (possibly) the worst attendance prediction in history (I can’t be bothered to check) – but still did enough to win.  Against Pat, obviously. 

Oh - and how exciting, The Lord and Mick the Bat have identical records.  Probably something by Iron Maiden but I'm not exactly sure.

Golden Boots – Too many to mention – insufficient budget to award
Lucky Bast@rd – MikeMike – though as he’s got his heart set on the wooden spoon, I guess it’s “unlucky bast@rd” on this occasion.

I’m bored now, so work the rest out yourselves…
