I’ve not heard anything about the injuries to Hearn and Rees on Saturday – let’s hope it’s more positive than it looked on the day.  Nice penalties BTW!

There’s two weeks left in The Prediction League, not that the bottom four in Div One are bothered – they’re already down. Better luck next year chaps. Or maybe just be better?  Meanwhile my win over the truanting Adrian has made it a bit more interesting at the top, with an outside chance of me overhauling Mr D who suffered a shock defeat at the hands of the ever-mercurial Sir Colin.

In Div 2 the chasing pack closed in slightly on Dinamo who is still not (quite) guaranteed to secure his surprise place back in Div 1.  And if you want any advice on crowds – just check what UrchinYid reckons each week – another 3 scored on the attendance this week to help him claim the Golden Boot.  Meanwhile MikeMike’s quest for the Wooden Spoon is still on – but he’ll need a minor miracle (Pat and Fat Tom both winning two games in a row!).

Finally, for the stats minded – yes it was a very low scoring week.  The lowest since March 2023 since you asked – three 0-0 draws rather did for us.
