Apparently Worthing have some trouble seeking youngsters and there have been recent incidents involving them.

Curtis  youve provided a possible explanation which imo is essential people dont want to be coralled and controlled without a reason.

Weve had some very poor seasons recently but were 14/15th on average attendances and of course the cold wet winter months lie ahead .

How do we go about giving us the best chance of getting something from the game.

We know Worthing like to play out from the back so do we close them down and force them into mistakes.

Or do we keep it tight and try to hit them on the break?

We're not going to out pass them so i'd like us on the front foot closing them down to try and stifle their build up play.

Maybe we should get some better competent stewards in and this wouldn't keep happening, as fans we can see the issues but no one at the club can forsee trouble when opposition supporters are allowed to mix or be in close proximity,  if you see a group being rowdy and only interested in getting in a punch up or causing trouble deal with it don't wait until it's kicked off and try to recover the situation,  Farnborough a couple of years ago....no issues since  , Borehamwood,  Gloucester , when will we learn ?

Still urging caution Worthing have posted the highlights of the last home game in Feb 25 where we beat them 4-0 including one of Scotts specials

Not happy with segregation and how late they were told They were advised prior to their game onTuesday that there would be 2 police officers in attendance and there was no trouble.

If they're not happy with segregation perhaps they should weed out these known troublemakers.

What a silly comment to make, no point in saying things like this when you don't know the facts.

The trouble makers are a bunch a kids that have started coming the past few years, every time they cause trouble or over step the line people around them tell them. Supporters have tried speaking to the ring leaders of this group to get them to sort it out but like many silly kids they simply will not listen. They have been reported to the club who have taken all their details, club  issued statements on fan behaviour and increased stewards at home games. Aside from questionable chants there has been no issues at home games. Only issues at away games have come when 2 sides have engaged eg Dagenham young fans attacked this group of fans. 

So what would you suggest to 'weed out' these troublemakers? 

Its like me coming on here and saying why don't you weed out your issues instead of relying on stewards? 

Im afraid its 2 sided here also, from the grape vine there has been Slough/Reading kids threaten and arrange a 'meet up' with these Worthing kids this weekend which I assume is why your club have taken action. So what are you doing to 'weed out' your youth element that are involved in this? 

Sorry is this comes across as me having a dig but as a ST holder at Woodside and someone who's spoken and tried to educate these idiots this comment really did not sit right with me!
