If last week was low scoring in the Prediction League (the worst for 3 years), well congratulations everyone, we just had the worst week EVER with just 104 goals between us!  And as Old Urchin somehow banged in 12 of those, the rest of us really can celebrate our collective incompetence.

I mean all Luke had to do was score 4 or more for me to draw level with Mr D at the top of the table.  Could he manage that?  No he bloomin’ well couldn’t, the useless so-and-so – he couldn’t even fluke 3 for a draw.  Cheers Luke!  With one week to go I still have an outside chance, but I have to say Mr D is now looking pretty secure.

Anyway it’s not all about me.  Or so Urchin Queen tells me.  There’s also Division 2 to consider, where a win for Dinamo guaranteed him the title, and a draw for Urchin Yid was enough to guarantee promotion. Well done both. 

The battle for the final auto-promotion slot is, meanwhile,  most exciting, with any of Paul C, The Desperado, CuppaTea and Mysterious Nick all in with a chance. And just below that Diamond Geezer is clinging onto the final play off slot – but needs a win to hold off Mick The Bat, Lord Upminster and Mike”no spoon”Mike next week.

There’s also Pat and Fat Tom.   Thanks for taking part lads.
