Not sure if there's a general football chat on here but I'm posting this as it's typical of the unpredictable (or entirely predictable) nature of football.

Maidenhead recently announced the departure of Alan Devonshire as manager after 6 defeats in a row and subsequent journey south down the league table. 

"Alan Devonshire yesterday notified Maidenhead United Football Club of his intention to step down as men’s first team manager. 

Dev will be taking charge of our next two fixtures against Salisbury and Chippenham Town, before stepping down after the final whistle on Saturday, 29th November."

On Tuesday night they go on to beat Salisbury 6-0 away from home! 

A case of "new manager bounce" before the old one has gone?
