I'm not really one for knocking players, having been fairly decent in local football I know how much work and so on you have to put in to get higher and so forth but I couldn't help myself whilst talking before the Maidenhead match on the terraces.

Mate of mine mentioned him and I quipped back, 'I've seen more movement in those new blocks of flats over there than Jordan'

the big question is how did he get in the squad in the first place if it was so obvious to all that he is not up to this level of football?

I gave him a little more time! But yes he just didn’t get involved, hardly won a header, actually didn’t look interested. Not sure what went wrong because we obviously wouldn’t have signed him had we seen him play like this?

Not sure you watched him much! It’s not harsh it’s a fact and we all saw it. We’ll just file this signing under mistakes. Although will be interested to see how he fares at Hampton.

He's only score a decent number of goals at one club, Tonbridge Angels, 22 goals in 54 games.

I’d hazard a guess that Scott reviewed the players available with Step 2 experience, what we could afford and Jordan was in that bracket. It hasn’t worked out for whatever reason so we now move on with Wiktor, Ruben and Luke, which I am fine with.

I remember rival fans coming on this forum and warning us of what eventually transpired. Step 2 players in our pay grade will clearly have major holes in their game. Looking forward to him bagging a hattrick when Hampton come to town!
