An amazing gesture from Droylsden Football Club, kindly gifting visitors Cockfosters this beautiful momento of the FA Vase Quarter Final tie at their Butchers Arms Stadium:

A link to the FA Vase Semi Final draw which was broadcast live earlier today, a good draw for Cockfosters against Southern Counties East League Premier Division Punjab United FC (Gravesend). The First Leg takes place at Chalk Lane on Saturday 28 March with the Second Leg a week later, Saturday 4 April, at the Steve Cook Stadium in Gravesend:

I see that Cockfosters have been accused of fielding an illegible player in last Saturday's FA Vase Sixth Round tie at Droylsden, following the dismissal of Captain Jay Lovell in their Fifth Round victory at Whitstable Town on Saturday 7 February, however Lovell had already served his two match suspension in a Spartan South Midlands League fixture against Harpenden Town and a Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division Cup fixture against Dunstable Town inbetween the Fifth and Sixth Round ties so 'nothing to see here':

The reports that Cockfosters FC fielded an ineligible player during Saturday's FA Vase clash with Droylsden are false the Reporter understands. As FA ruling states, should a sending-off offence occur in an FA Vase match the automatic suspension shall apply to matches in the football category in which the player's team usually competes, in addition to FA Vase Matches where applicable.

Incidentally, the other FA Vase Semi Final will be between Bristol based Hallen AFC and Eastleigh based AFC Stoneham with the First and Second Legs also taking place on Saturday 28 March and Saturday 4 April respectively:
