Just paraphrasing RR, no matter how we sugar coat it, he’s gone full time, on more money to an NL club and testing himself at a higher level will lead to more interest from clubs higher up the pyramid potentially. I understand it completely, doesn’t seem odd at all.

Wow how tight are Gateshead! A 3 month contract! Obviously don’t rate him that high and it’s not like he’d be their top earner either. Odd not to give a contract covering all next season too, I hope they’re paying for his accommodation whilst he’s up there.

Gateshead are looking to get relegated Surely he could have done a lot better? Hope he enjoys the weather

Probably more the lad backing himself to push on from Step 1, either to the top of that league or into the EFL for the next season. Wouldn't want to be tied down to a contract that they might not let him out of or demand a huge fee

They’re 9 points off safety so it’s fair to see they’re quite likely to get relegated. I think his chances of getting NL club for next season would have been higher staying with us and continuing his good form instead of swapping for a relegation dog fight.

I’m a bit disappointed to see Adam leaving for a club that will likely be relegated & for only a three month contract.

i think he’s jumped at his first Step 1 interest & been pressured with a short deadline & would probably have received several much better offers in the summer.

Best of luck to him though, I hope he can play a big part in turning around their 10 point deficit.

Signing a contract longer than this season wouldn't make sense, a contract until the end of the season does.

Prove himself good enough for the level and he'll get plenty of offers.
