No can’t accept that! Fully understand a player taking any opportunity to further their career and earn a lot more but when a simple quick message of thanks is too much trouble I’m afraid that says more about the person. No excuses especially as we gave him a platform after his long injury.

As far as I'm aware most players who leave have said some sort of goodbye message.

It doesn't take a lot of effort and just shows a bit of appreciation to the fans.
