I thought we actually played quite well yesterday and on another day would have won quite comfortably.  An unfortunate “penalty” to concede (surely a handball and then a dive?), and then an awkwardly-timed second just before half time.  But a great second half performance.  Anyway, onwards to Horsham.

Also unfortunate to concede was Lord Upminster who banged in the second highest goals tally of the day but came up against Cup of Tea who was having his annual good day. In fact it’s all about Div 2 today, with The Geezer getting one over Adrian in the day’s big derby match, and also leapfrogging him to top the division.   And well done to Old Urchin – not a win, but at least a step in the right direction.

For those interested, Luke and Sir Colin are offering free entry to the return fixture to apologise to their respective sets of supporters after their dire 3-3 draw.  I thought Luke was on for a big fat zero but disappointingly he managed to turn it around on the crowd.
