Well I was at both games today, firstly the Slough Town Cup Final and then our game and have to say the endings were just crazy.

The Slough Town Cup Final saw the Britwell goalkeeper march 70 yards and land a right hook into the back of a old Windsor player and then continue his onslaught with a head butt which I think was on another. Then followed the chaos in our game at the end.

Amazing moment in the cup final was when a substitution was being made and the player coming on only had a pair of black shorts on so to get him on the field of play the player coming off had to take his yellow shorts off so the player coming on could put them on, let's just say they were a snug fit.

Onto our game have to say we never gave up again even after the penalty miss we kept trying and trying until we got our reward. Every player put a shift in and were determined to get something from the game which we thoroughly deserved. The chaos at the end obviously got too much for Scott who decided to have a lay down.

It's been a tough week with the passing of my father in law at the beginning of the week so nothing but praise and thanks to the rebels who dug in and for bringing a little bit of joy in what has been a difficult week.

Firstly sorry to hear about your loss 🙏

Secondly, knowing OWFC and Britwell the way I do and having played against them what feels like twenty times this season it was only a matter of time before something kicked off in the match, my only surprise was how long it took.

The ref will have put down that Peters was sent off for violent conduct and as far as we know the only definitive footage of the incident shows Peters as the aggressor I'd bet that the FA will side with the refs decision that a red card for him was the appropriate action and will ban and fine him heavily. 

At the very least I would imagine.

Even at our level we've had one already this season with another potentially pending, certainly a FA Hearing due for myself so I cannot see either club escaping this one after that went on.
