Well we are back from the international break (i.e. my trip to Germany) and very nice it was too thanks for asking.

During that time the boys have annihilated Dagenham, shared in a defensive masterclass (?!) at Maidstone and gained a hard-fought three points in a frankly dull (in comparison) game versus Ebbsfleet.  I think we’d have taken that – onwards to Chelmo.

Down in the PL there’s only two weeks to go and Ozz has pulled ominously clear at the top, needing just one win to secure the title.  It won’t be easy though as I still have a sniff of a chance and I do the calculations.  After that it’s so tight that anyone could still go down – and even Marta at the bottom has a chance of survival after giving Mr D a right old thrashing on his long trip to Brazil.

In Div 2 the top place switched hands again with Adrian sneaking back ahead of the Geezer.  And deservedly so as Adrian’s 2-4 prediction at Maidstone made him the only manager to score anything on the match result. Well done old chap.  Blackballed always likes a mention, so I will confirm you've at least qualified for the play-offs - and let's hope you can get back down The Bridge for the end of season denouement.
