Absolute joke losing to a relegated side 5/2 completely hopeless, embarrassing, no pride in the shirt , players on the beach?  this time next year we could be the relegated side at this rate , can't win a game what a joke we have been since our last win.....THE 7TH OF MARCH!!!!! there are no excuses , the summer overhaul/exodus will be even harder now  ...who will want to join us now ?

I was there and the 2nd half wasn’t great, very poor in fact. Scotty and Yella saw what the fans did and know what’s going on, they will fix it in the Summer. After today, certain players don’t deserve to play another second for the club and I’ll be glad when they are gone, as it’s clearly the ones that have believed their own hype, truth is I hope other clubs don’t give them a chance at this level or higher but they will. Since Hornchurch, this team is not a reflection of Scott Davies, the team have badly let down the man that gave them a springboard and believed in them, they need to take a long hard look at themselves!

I think he’s saying Scott saw the same display from the players as the fans did and big changes are needed?

I said Maidenhead was my last game this season and I’m glad I stuck to it. I just find it embarrassing we can find ourselves thrashed by a team relegated. Can only think the Enfield players had more desire and willingness to win? It seems a lot of our players know they’re moving on and don’t really care now. Whoever turns up v D&R deserve at least a couple of free pints!

There was a time when we were on that great run of form that we could have been looking at a top 10 finish but we could now possibly finish 20th. Personally from this squad there’s only 5 or 6 players I’d want to keep but no doubt most of these will be off, let’s hope Scott has his magic book out and ready for another massive rebuild.

Well I saw what Scott did and showed the passion he has for our club, obviously hurting with the display but great to see what it meant to him, Hope the right hand is ok Scott.

No other human or animal was hurt in this incident I'm pleased to report.

A disgraceful defeat to a relegated side who on the day were playing for their manager.

A big shake up required particularly down the spine of our team starting with the defense, midfield right through to the strikers. 

Unfortunately for us it means another big turn over of players which is never helpful in what will very likely be another fight to stay up.

Nice to finally pick up 3 points against you guys - albeit in a dead rubber. Whilst the game clearly gives no indication as to what will happen next season, I reckon NLS will be even tougher next season. Folkestone and Walton will come up with very healthy budgets. They could easily be joined by Farnham and Chatham - with the latter already running as a full-time club. I have no doubt that Scott will be working overtime over the summer to pick up quality players from lower down the pyramid. There may well be some surprises (as with Eastbourne this season,) but unlike in seasons gone by, I can see 4 very good 'established' NLS clubs dropping to Step 3 in 12 months time. Hope you're able to push on.

As in full time players earning full time wages?

If so that's a new one on me and if so another indication of more money coming into step 2.
