Slough v Dagenham

Recommended Posts

I don't think any supporter would want us to get into debt by over spending on the budget.

Take the example of Spurs 😏 they have the best ground and facilities in the country but have neglected the playing side and as such could well get relegated. Whats the point of having the best facilities in the championship.

Go down and our income drops down along with us.

No owner of a football club should take their eye of the playing side.

But would it be spending money we didn't have?

The club is obviously making a lot more money through the hiring of the ground, facilities, match day income and sponsorship.

The owners main aim it seems is to direct that money towards the infrastructure to increase the clubs income to eventually go full time.

To stay in this division for the immediate future imo the rush to expand might have to slow down a bit so more money can be put into the playing side that will give us the best chance of staying up.

My take exactly RR, agree 💯

I’m not saying spend what we don’t have, I’m saying if we have money stored for our future projections then we should dip into it now, it’s time to twist!

My view is that the club are doing their absolute best on the limited resources available, 16th place with expectations of finishing even lower next season is precisely where we want to be, and there is no magic money pot with which to push on.

Anyone who thinks otherwise is deluded and has their head up their backside.

Spurs haven’t not invested in the playing side they , along with Man U have just bought the wrong players !
no manager will succeed where the club is set up wrong , that HAS to come first .
look at Brentford , Brighton and Bournemouth to see how to run a club ,

manager is important but not be all and end all . Those clubs have survived and thrived under different managers .
Thomas Frank is a good manager at a well run club but failed at a basket case Spurs .
if we are well run we will appoint a manager who fits our model and he will have the chance to shine .
The Who matters less than the how .
