I’d say the players that had agreed to stay, before Scott left, will only now stay if Yella is retained by the new manager. So, the new manager needs to do the right thing to ensure a smooth transition in my opinion, letting Yella go, and with it say 5 or 6 players, who now have Step 2 experience, wouldn’t be a wise decision.

Ideally yes that's what we'd all want to happen.

But I suppose it's got to be a two way street, the new manager wanting Yella to be his assistant and Yella wanting to stay at the club under him. 

Yella and Scott were best buddies and sometimes that bond is unbreakable.

I think the players Scott was most complimentary about when he was with us were Adam & Leon, but I doubt either will be available on a free transfer.

Adam is listed as a retained player with Gateshead.

Scott has to find a goalkeeper then Aldershot site saying they dont have a credible goalkeeper
