Or how about Stanway Rivers to the Southern Midland and Bishops Stortford coming back to Ryman. 

 

As an extra just to let you all know that AF Whyteleafe will be playing at Cray Wanderers Ground next season.

Not unduly worried by our lack of signing announcements at this stage, but already a little concerned at the strengthening going on at other Isthmian Prem clubs. Dartford seem to be splashing the cash a little, Cray are signing the likes of Ade Yusuff, Ramsgate having signed the former Dartford manager are making some impressive signings, St Albans have secured the majority of their important players, Three Bridges look an impressive upwardly-mobile outfit, Welling have already been spending, Dulwich/Chatham/Brentwood/Aveley will be strong. Its going to be tough to get near the top half!

Meanwhile, Maldon & Tiptree have lost their manager and players are inevitably fleeing. Will be interesting to see the state of their team come the start of the season.

Wonder what happens with the players on full-time contracts?

Looking at the squad Eastbourne are assembling, it'd be tough to argue thats it not significantly stronger than their full-time squad last season! They've added the likes of Lewis Carey (Horsham keeper), Liam Nash and Josh Rees amongst others.

Expectations very low for the upcoming season. We were fishing in a very different pond in terms of recruitment compared to almost all of the clubs at Step 2. It now seems to be very much the same situation for us back at Step 3. Squads have already been assembled by the likes of Eastbourne, Ramsgate, Lewes, Three Bridges, Billericay, Dartford, St Albans, Aveley...etc. The Early Bird Season Ticket Offer has expired, with the promise of 3 retained players to lure the fans into parting with their cash. Feels very much as if Billy is already up against it before pre-season has even started. Fingers crossed he can pull a few rabbits out of hats in a few days time!
