what are the thoughts of the new club badge/ insignia i for one are surprised that the board has found this neccassary as the badge that we have is our identity ,and changing it when we are already going through an expensive time where we do not have a lot of money (apparantly) seems crazy to me

Although the old badge was bland and boring and did need updating, it’s disappointing there was absolutely no fan interaction. You’d think even at the recent and forum something might have been revealed? Not sure this process was totally inclusive was it!!!

What a load of garbage. The old badge had gravitas and meaning. Serve with honour meant something. No fan consultation. Admittedly I don't get back much these days, but I still care. I also get to watch a village team in North east Wales a few times a season. Compare and contrast attitudes, their manager took the time to find my address and send a mug as a thank you for supporting them.

As said  previously very dissapointing that the club did not consult with their biggest asset the fans a mistake that has been made by many clubs in the past,much to their disdain as in the end instead of raising their profile it does the opposite and builds a wedge between the board and those who trully support the club, in my opinion a poor un educated decision

Awful and pointless. Very underhanded given there was a fans forum recently and nothing was said.

 

On the whole, I'm happy with the current owners' stewardship, but they are temporary in the grand scheme of things and this feels like they are trying to make it their own club. The message is clear - we unearth stars and sell them.

 

Changing something so fundamental about our identity without saying a word beforehand is supremely misjudged at the very best. I really hope there is a rethink.

 

Not to mention every other club is laughing at us and so they should. Again, no consultation with fans. What a laughing stock.

 

Lifelong fan 40+ years VERY disappointed.

They said that they expected there would be differing views from supporter! Can any genuine supporter who finds this a great innovative move come on here and say so and why (not the usual nodding dogs)

Clubs don't ever consult on changes like this because they know it will go down like a cup of sick. Very unimpressed. Half expecting them to change the shirt colours now as well, like the cretin at Cardiff did a few years back
