First look at the new signings in a town shirt… very even first half thought the number 24 looked dangerous throughout on the left wing… Sam was Sam … could see the style of play has changed with the strikers playing on the last man waiting for balls played in behind…. defence looked vulnerable to the high ball over the top … second half nine  changes Town on top throughout… Eli grew in confidence and put in a few lovely crosses… … May-Parrott scored a neat header and a penalty… 

i’ve never been a great fan of the surface at Coles Park as anyone running with the ball seems to overtake it on such a slow surface…. Looking at the signed up players it looks like we are mostly there with the attacking and midfield players but the defence is possibly going to be a headache….

Yes, largely agree with that.

You could definitely see a different passing style of football that Billy hopes to play, though whether we can retain the ball for long periods at IPL level remains to be seen.

Was also impressed with the performance of the trialist playing at no. 24, and it was nice to see Finlay Corrigan controlling the play in the first half. Seemed like everything went through him. In Luke May-Parrott we may well have finally found a goalscorer, could easily have had a hattrick in one half of football yesterday.

More of a concern that Haringey, from step 4, had only 3 or 4 chances and scored 3 goals but it's early days so best not to read too much into it. Don't forget that Billy was having a look at several trialists in each half.

First time I think I've seen a team change kits at half time! Haringey played in yellow in the first half and green in the second!
