There are a number of reports that our opponents on 8th August have been served with a winding up order by the Revenue

They deny this but admit there are unpaid debts that will be cleared when the takeover is complete..

Watch this space

Ebbsfleet have stated that they have not received any communication from HMRC and are in constant communication with them and any monies owed will be paid.

It's not the first time so they've obviously got an owner who doesn't like to pay his tax until they're threatened with a winding up order.

Just reporting on here what is the latest topic on the Supporters Trust facebook page.

Seems as though the club will from Saturday be charging people a fiver to park in the Lynch Hill Academy car park.

It has always been free to park there previously if you got there early and found a space.

I haven't seen any official announcement from the club about this change of policy,(what a surprise), but when you go on the club website to buy a match ticket for Saturday's game, there is also an 'option' to purchase  a car park ticket in this Lynch Hill Academy area for £5.

I always buy Car Park Season Ticket and over 80% of the time i use Lynch Hill Academy as i always thought the money went to St Joe's for a Charity that the School pick.

Am I correct in my observation.

So I paid for the football season ticket paid for the shirt and paid £60 for the car park ticket ìn May.

I pick car park tìcket up on Saturday are you saying I will have to pay another £5. 

Note I gave £20 to the trust a couple of weeks ago so £5 can be taken out to pay as £15 is the basic trust cost for the season.

Also alot of the games i come by train this Saturday i want to come by car.

All I know about this  new situation is taken from the comments on this  subject that I've read on the Supporters Trust facebook page.

As far as I am aware, there has been no official announcement from the club about this new charge.

It's just that someone yesterday noticed that there was now an "add-on" option when you go online to buy a match ticket for Saturday, of purchasing a car park ticket for that game in Lynch Hill Academy car park for £5, (where parking has always been free previously.)

This was in addition to the online "add-on" option of buying a £5 car park ticket for the match in the St. Joe's car park, which has been an option available for games for some time.

As you've bought a season car park ticket already, I would expect you to have no problems and I definitely would not expect you to have to pay any more.

But as I say, no official details about this seemingly new development have been  announced, so I guess we can only wait for some clarification about this issue.

(As for where any car park monies end up, I don't know.).

I'm sure some of the St Joe's car parking money goes to the school as part of the original deal.

If you park in Lynch Hill it looks like you'll have to pay again to park there.

Just park in St. Joe's which you've paid for.

Well, I wasn't going Nigel as I've said I'm boycotting our 23 home league games this season ( unless an agreeable compromise is  found in this supposed consultation which is taking place God know's when ), but it now seems nobody else is going on Saturday either !

Yes Ebbsfleet suspended by National League for first 3 league games to see if they do sort out promises made re HMRC debts and others and the stalling takeover!

I think all non league club fans would love an owner that is willing & able to put £2 million a season for 13 consecutive seasons into their club (which is what the Kuwaiti owner has done), but they would also hope that the CEO’s and Managers would put those funds to good use & climb up the Football Pyramid (unfortunately that hasn’t happened & they are at exactly the same level they were 13 years ago).

Personally, I prefer the model of organic self funding growth (which it appears Ashley Smith is trying to achieve) but it will be interesting to see if in 10 years time it is any better or more successful.

I’m very confused what do you want from an owner of a football club? Do they need to be born in Slough? How many chairman do you know used to be footballers, played in non league in the county for many years? We have an academy and junior set up of boys and girls of over 20 teams, a new training centre and we are trying to produce our own players for the future.  I believe you can’t compare us to ebbsfleet at all.

If I was Slough I'd be asking for the fixtures to be reversed to get you the Saturday home game back
