What's happened to Micky Parcell? Has he been involved in pre-season? Thought he would be a first choice this season at right back or centre midfield if fully fit

He has played pre-season but still has a knee problem - same thing that kept him out of so many games last season. I think it's one of those injuries that is hard to diagnose/treat, but he can play through it.

We need him on the pitch - he's a good player and a good captain who knows the ETFC way and can guide all the new players. One thing we mustn't lose this season is the link between the players and the supporters.

Agree with this massively. Feel like we lost that ‘link’ many times over the last two seasons in the NLS. Hopefully we can rebuild it throughout this season so fans and players are on the same page
