Not to say it’s not possible but I just can’t see a win (Jules you can use that as your pre match inspiration if you like!). Be very happy with a draw but it all depends on how good we defend and that’s not just the goalkeeper and defenders. Really hoping all the players want to put on a performance to rectify the shambles at Dover.

We're at home against a newly promoted side who've lost their opening two matches. Tonight should be a good indicator of just how serious we are about staying away from the bottom four.

We're hoping for a draw, but there's no reason why we can't win (unless we think we're crap).

I don't disagree with you. But of course, a win is dependant on scoring more goals than we concede - and right now I have no confidence in our defence or keeper, so we may have to score a few to get a win.

I don't think Farnham being newly promoted and having lost their first two games will have any bearing on the outcome.

They have players who have experience at this level or above and a midfield duo of Billy Clifford and Bobby-Joe Taylor who are head and shoulders above any player in our midfield.

As for a good indicator on our season ahead, losing to a team that are predicted to be in and around the play-offs won't determine our fate come April.

They have 6 ex Rebels in their squad! Plus they’ve signed some very good experienced players this summer and have a very generous owner who wouldn’t hesitate splashing out further if the need arises. I’d expect them to be minimum top 10 if not pushing for the play offs this season.

Hey Guys, and I thought I was the negative one on here. I just went back to look at the 2019-2020 fans forum at Arbour Park on the 30th January 2020 with Bakes and Unders, where they were actually talking about promotion to the National League, it is amazing what can happen in 6 years, where we are now talking about avoiding getting relegated from the National League South.  What has gone wrong?

The way we currently operate if you don't get the player recruitment right, which includes the manager, this division will find you out.

Very early day's so lets see how we do tonight and Saturday against Hampton.

Lose tonight it'll be against a team predicted to be at the top end of the table, lose Saturday and we could have a much bigger problem.

Some good players in there but in general I'd say still short of the quality required for step 2.

Worsfold, Ben Harris, Joe Grant, Nojus Trinovus, Sean Fraser, Dan Roberts and Francis Amartey imo were not step 2 level.

BTW not sure how you've come up with Trinovus he never kicked a ball for our first team.
