Definitely defensive issues but our midfield is also not good enough when it comes to protecting our defence.

Really not sure why Goddard was put in central midfield.

Once he moved out wide on the left he looked much better.

Great shame George Vorster has gone on loan, he would have been the natural replacement for Myers. 

Well surely that’s the first job Jules should be doing on Monday and that’s recalling Vorster to replace Myers? Or is that too obvious and sensible? I too would give some others who haven’t played much more game time.

If you see Jules interview I can't believe AJ mentioned Hampton and Richmond fans before the Slough fans.  I don't think his heart and mind is for Slough and you can tell from his body language that he is completely loss and out of his depth in this league.  He is finding it hard trying to convince himself. He said that he brought on a defender when we were 3:2 up and we concede another 3 goals. The man doesn't know what he is doing. He is losing the fans already. SACK HIM THIS MORNING, because it so hard to be promoted back into this league.

Agree, found it astounding that he mentioned the H&R fans first following a heavy defeat.

If there's no call back clause then we wont be able to.

Just look at AJ's body language and tell me you are convinced with what he is saying.

What makes you think we could do a swap or even that Dowson would want to come to Slough?

Hampton sacked AJ and have just won their first game so any thought of them taking AJ back is ludicrous.

They were just showing him respect for his services as a player not as a manager.

Dependent on the nature of our results I think 10 games is a fair yardstick.

 

What happens if we wait that long and we have 0 points and say 15 points off safety, could be too late?

I agree with everyone, AJ should go as these were three winnable games. If he continues we are likely to be too far adrift to be saved and out of the cups. I dread to think what Dagenham and Torquay will do to us if we dont improve.

What's eye opening is the depth of ill-feeling and comments on club Facebook posts. Clearly it is not just a handful of cranks on Fans Forum who are unconvinced by the first team management or the board

Certainly on paper Dover and Hampton were winnable games.

I'm not sure many thought we would beat Farnham.

I still say 3 games is too early to wield the axe but then again it'll all depend very much on the nature of performances over the next couple of games.

3 defeats and conceding 10 goals in two of them it's not surprising the knives are out for AJ.
