Huh.  Those doubters – what do they know?  The Chins are THIRD – yes THIRD.  As a tactical ignoramus I’m not exactly sure what Daryl did at half time, but it certainly worked and the fruits were obvious after 5 mins of the second half.  I stuck £4 on us to win at 1-2 down and cleaned up £42.  Go me.   (Well £38 after expenses).

But in terms of tactical geniuses in the Prediction League, I reckon it’ll be a long hard slog for some of you.  Too early to mention anyone by name (especially as I’m top of Div 1 and The Baby is top of Div 2) but I do want to commend Diamond Geezer.  

As a die-hard Tottenham fan (there’s not many left), he felt compelled to eschew the day’s easiest points (Arsenal to beat The Villa) and went for a Villa win.  Commendable loyalty, but he’d have won comfortably if he’d gone with head over heart.  Meanwhile I notice that UrchinYid (who one assumes supports "The" Spurs) let himself down badly by not only going for a Gooner win, but managed to lose as well.  Poor fella.  This week we’re having Forest v Spurs to really put the pair of them to the test.
