FA Cup 2026/27

Really hoping we get a favourable tie and don’t fall at the first hurdle.

My concern would be that Manager’s struggling in the league often have no interest in being distracted by & progressing in cup competitions.

I would hope that we do take the competition seriously, I love when we make it to the first round proper.

And I also hope with our current run of results we get a home match against someone at least two steps lower than us

But wouldn’t drawing a club 2 steps or more lower just create more pressure as we’d be expected to win?

[Curtis]

If we couldn’t beat a Step 4 club at home, then forget the pressure, it would be the final sign that major changes were needed urgently.

We could draw Windsor and Eton in the next round. That would be interesting.

HT = Heavy Trucker, or Half-Time (score)?
