A very good start up at Halifax, but we couldn’t keep it up and were second best after about 25 mins.  Hey ho. We’d have taken a very decent 12 points from 7 games. Nice town, nice pubs, nice people.   Onwards to Worthing, where my experiences have been more mixed!

Meanwhile a “very good start” has been maintained by my good self and, more surprisingly, Mick The Bat, who are now both clear at the top of our respective divisions.  I got lucky: if Halifax had added just one more to their fantasy attendance I’d have only drawn.  Sorry MikeMike!

In this week’s local derbies, there was no neighbourly love shown.  Pat annihilated The Desperado, and Fat Tom steamrollered Urchin Yid.   Mr Yid’s start to the season has been so bad it feels right to honour him with sponsorship of Division 2 – at least until he gets a point.

Golden Boot – Pat
Lucky B@st@rd – Diamond Geezer (though you can make a case for me)
Fat Tom’s Alarm Clock – Luke
