Re-Structuring

I would like to hear other fans views on the restructuring as have just seen the plans in the non-league paper and was shocked to discover that the majority of clubs will be relegated to a lower step eg. A team in the Ryman North currently in step 3 yet if finish 8th will play in step 4.Also teams like my own AFC Wimbledon (Combined Counties - Southern League South)will be promoted yet still be in the same step as are this season!! Yet on the other hand teams in the Premier Div. finish 13th and get into the new 2nd tier Conference or 14th and get relegated a step!! Is this fair pls do give your views as surely clubs will lose money on attendances!!

I am not entirely sure about this as I have posted on previous threads. As a Slough fan, it will not reduce our travelling in the slightest and will have us visiting a variety of poorly supported teams. Which means depressing atmospheres and bugger all gate receipts. It also seems unfair that Maidenhead who have had an average season in the Prem could end up two steps ahead of us even if we finish seventh in the league below. Having said that we all knew the re-structuring was possible when the season started and now the importance of a top six finish if you are a Ryman Div One team. Just ask Bromley who have had forty different managers in an effort to get promoted (probably a lot going on behind the scenes there that I don't know).
