UP FLEET, March 23, 2004 in Ebbsfleet United Forum
Congratulations up fleet you have reached 200 posts, well done!!!!!!!!!!!!! sad eh......... or bored at work, either way ive reached a mile stone
A milestone indeed it is. If you do as little as Fleet Fanatic does at work, you'll soon be posting your 3000th! <img src="/images/graemlins/icon29.gif" alt="" />
Actually.....I'm at home right now.
Practising for the night shift, are we?
i'll be doing as much tonight as i've done today at work, only with my eyes shut.
Depending how long this thread continues, I might get to 900.
I might risk taking the train then if you're off!
they will still probably be late.
I've got all next week off as well. And the week after. And the week after that, 'cos we've been told we're being laid off at the end of this week. Oh whoopee f-ing doo. Back to the dole queue........
Might be some vacancies on the railway once the new rosters have been finalised.....
What for people to explain why the trains aren't running?
Beats explaining why their post is delivered to the wrong house!
Surely there is some scope for multi-tasking here.....You could combine the two jobs and deliver the mail late to the wrong town.
deliver it on a bus instead, there is always more than one of them at any one time.
how can they be laying postmen off, obviously not their fault directly but the post sucks at the moment. Seems to get worse week by week. Surely we want more postmen???
Sorry to hear your news John@The Fleet.
In the meantime, couldn't you submit some of your lyrics to a recording artist, like Elton John. I'd love to hear him singing some of your ditties..
[esp the shrimp one!!] <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
That aint from Career Opportunities by the Clash by any chance is it? <img src="/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />
Thought not! <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
Anyway, Elton's always sticking things up his...oh...never mind!
However, I see that in the evenings, the rest of 'em have done their best to delay your journey home.
How was wednesday night when the looney woman walked along the track at London Bridge?
Relative of yours I assumed!
Personally, I would have let the trains carry on running, but that is a bit hard on the cleaners I suppose.
