And Another One

Recommended Posts

Aldershot have announced they will become a full-time club from 1 July.

The Shots, who were promoted to the Conference last season, missed out on a place in the Football League by losing to Shrewsbury in the play-off final.

The directors met on Monday to discuss the financial implications of becoming full-time and chairman Karl Prentice revealed they would go professional.

Talks had been on-going for 18 months and boss Terry Brown can work daily with his players next season.

Well, at least next season there'll be nothing wrong with Andy talking of our quest to become the top part-time club if Aldershot are miles in front of us in the league... grin.gif

What happened to their pledge just weeks ago that they would not go full time until they achieved league status.
