From now until next season.....

.....is too long to wait! <img src="/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

Unfortunately, due to summer holidays <img src="/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />& work commitments <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />, it looks like I'll be missing nearly all the friendlies arranged so far <img src="/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />(even Gillingham <img src="/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />) so it will be even longer to wait. <img src="/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

Summer is definately the worst time of year. <img src="/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

Its kinda nice to get a break from all the worry and trauma that comes with a football season. Have a holiday, relax and dont worry about the football. It will soon be along. And the message board is still here for when you need it.

Watch the cricket...support KCCC just for now

To me, it doesn't matter what colour kit the players wear, what sponsors are involved, what names & numbers are on their backs, I'm afraid cricket is crap. I've tried to like it, believe me, I've really tried but at the end of the day,........it's crap. In fact F1 is better......and that's crap as well. Oh dear, I think I'm having a 'crap' moment.......

Youv'e found someone carjam,a great game, if,like me,you originally didn't like the game, then I suggest you study the game and learn the rules and then it just hits you what a terrific game it can be.
Personally I find (fantasy) Premiership,God I hate that name, football a turn off.

Of course theres plenty of cricket fans out there. I wonder how you get on though with no first class team in your county. I really must get out to see Kent more this time around.

And to the point

yes I love cricket but

GNFC are far more important to me. Thats why im glad of the close season. 3 months a year without the worry.

F1 crap, Cricket crap, Horse of the week show crap, Tennis crap, Snooker crap, any American sport crap, Synchronised swimming...I'd sooner watch Dartford.

World super bikes is worth watching and I wont mind watching the footie from Euro 2004 but I'll be buggered if I am going to put up with Garth Crooks talking down to me this summer (No Big Ron that isn't racist but it is pompous twatist) or Ian Wright/Kevin Keegan telling me England will win the championship or Mark Lawrenson telling me they wont. I'd watch with the sound off but some d*ckhead would think the silence needed filling with a conversation while I'm trying to watch.

Actually sport on telly sucks....roll on July, we are unbeaten since February 14th and I want to see how long we can keep that run going.

Best thing is to watch the tv matches with radio commentary.

Actually, the bbc (when watched on sky digital) did have a 'just push the red button' feature that allowed you to have the radio commentary instead of the tv one!

Hopefully the function is there for Euro 2004.

I think it was because Stu M wrote a message which contained a "word" without spaces which went on forever..thus the computer won't break up the word into several lines. Not sure if that makes sense to anybody else but i get it.. <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Yep, me! I have a season ticket to Kent Cricket and go to most home games! Talking of season tickets how does one go about getting a GNFC Season ticket for the first time?

The spelling is fine (bit of a giveaway on the age front) shame about the double negative.

For what it's worth, not that I give a XXXX what other people think, ( and they probably couldn't give a XXXX about me anyway !), I like cricket.....an enjoyable day was spent at Tunbridge Wells watching Kent hammer Lancashire......10 hours drinking...a nice sunny day, and the sound of leather against willow ! although, as the day wore on,we had to endure the sound of Scousers v Man U fans ( and they were part of our mob !!)

Can't think of a better way to spend a summer's day ( without the Man U sh*t obviously!)

Cheers,
