The disk drive on my sons PS2 has broken, has anyone got any idea where I can get it fixed?

You could try that shop in the Angelsey,sorry Thamesgate Centre...they *might* be able to help you,couldn't tell you for sure though...

try the local boot sale you will pick one up for less than the cost to repair your sons

Same thing happened to mine last year and the cheapest and most reliable option was to buy another one.

Or take it to Argos in the box that the replacement came in (that you bought from Argos the day before) & get a refund on 'a duplicated purchase'.....

Good news guys, Mrs Bartfast (Who is a bit more gifted than me in the never throwing anything away department) has found the receipt and it is still under guarantee.

I think it must be fairly common for the disk drives to break on PS2's because they didnt seem at all surprised at Sony and they are sending a replacement on Tuesday.
