who`s gonna win it

I think Billericay have a great chance with Coulder and Borg. We also have the best player in the league in Joe Baker and it could just be our year. Apart from Billericay i would go for Scum Island, Grays and Aldersh*t as an outside bet. I think Billericay will most probably win the league, FA Cup, FA Umbro trophy and Essex Senior Cup. What a season it is going to be.

RICAY RULE!!!!!

Chesham for FA Cup, Trophy and League, giving us Europe in one year and access to the Premiership in 2010.

But in real life I think it's gonna be Canvey/Grays. I think Aldershot are more than capable of winning the league, but I think Terry Brown is not going to be the man to do it. I think Grays are very handy and Canvey might just edge this time around. Time will tell.

Chesham will finish about 9th this season, there has been a wage cut and this is probably for the club's good. I'd love to see us getting a good couple of cup runs and a top 6 finish, I think that would be good for what we have.

No one's talking about St Albans, odds a tasty 50-1 to take the title.

Question Jared: I've seen these odd on non league media sites but can't find any bookies online who will take my money. Any suggestions as to where I can place my nonleague bet.

I'll be reminding you of them on Oct 20. I doubt we'll finish better than top 5 this season but we'll still be a mile in front of you!

I was already saying in March that if St. Albans could hold their team together after that financial crisis, and they played all season the way they did when leading the current form table for about 5 weeks that they could run with the best and would be a good outside bet. If we can survive in the Conference I think we might just be playing the saints again in 13 months time.

I'll expect Billericay to finish in style this season, and that means one of the top positions, but I can't belive that we'll actually win the whole thing...only in my dreams!

Canvey and Aldershot will as usual fail to get promoted, no doubt about that, so I'll hope for a very exiting season with 4-5 teams including Billericay in the title chase troughout the season!

At last someone who knows what they are talking about, lets look at the signings - Castle, Beevor, Snippetts, Chanllor, Brown, Townley, Gould a few more played yeaterday in the friendly against watford and looked good.

And the only players we have lost are Wraight (money grabbing twat - dropped down a division for more cash) Cambell (I am injured most the season and then I turn down a pay rise) Bignall (retired - back injury) and Ansell ([censored])

Lets face it G+N know what to look for when its comes to champions (eh canvey)

How can you have slots for St Albans, Braintree, Chesham, Sutton, Aylesbury and 'some complete unheard outsider' ????

Surley there the same things. <img src="/forums/images/icons/confused.gif" alt="" />

Our team will finish higher than any of those [color:"red"]t.w.a.t.s. ( [color:"red"] T ough [color:"red"] W onderfull [color:"red"] A nd [color:"red"] T alented [color:"red"]S quads <img src="/forums/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" /> ) and we won't win it either.

To be honest, I think St Albans and Bedford will be two of the strongest teams next season.

Grays will be relegated.

Canvey won't win it.

Can't see Billericay doing much - same applies for Braintree.

Aldershot ought to do well, but once again there'll be too much pressure on them at home.

Why has no-one mentioned Ford Utd??

Final table:

1. St Albans

2. Bedford

3. Canvey

4. Ford Utd

5. Aldershot

Wow, talk about coincidence Mr Zeal If you take the 1st letter of each team in your top 5 league prediction it spells out my mothers maiden name!!!!!!!!!

It prompted me to make a long overdue telephone call and speak to my great old granny Sbcfa, she's 97 y'know.......and she seemed to think that Canvey have no chance of finishing as high as 3rd. Although she did mention that if they do not she would be unwilling to adjust the spelling of her surname, e.g Sbfac, Sbfca, etc.

But what does she know, she's old, wrinkled and smells of wee.......... "is she Canvey in disguise......."<img src="/forums/images/icons/shocked.gif" alt="" /> .
