I read on their forum their away end holds about 600ish, we must be able to fill that, if you look at how many we took to daggers.

They also mentioned Aldershot took 2200 and they were accomodated?! I reckon it could be close to capacity. Canvey's first home game ever in the conference! Whatever happens we will be spoiling the party!!

Is the Canvey ground as bad as they say? Undecided whether to go if it's a dump. Can we really expect 600 for an evening game?

One concern I have for the season is the pitch, with two Gravesend teams, Dartford and Charlton Ladies on it surely it's going to show signs of wear and tear before long

Of course you must go, Four Four Two. It's not about whether their grounds a dump, it's that it will be their first ever home game in the Conference. The rivalry between our two teams is well known, so lets give them a rousing Conference welcome and their first home defeat.

 

As for it being an all ticket match. Be realistic, this is Canvey Island v Gravesend & Northfleet, not Arsenal v Spurs.

Miss this game at your peril, i have been to the last 2 games at canvey and you certainly dont want to miss this one. The fact that its a midweek game only adds to the atmosphere.

Who wouldn't want to go and take the p*ss out of jeff(blobby)king.

Get in the bar early as near the game it gets packed with canvey fans ordering their half pint of shandy!!

Canvey,s ground all looks nice , new paint and a nice new concrete terrace, for a small club its a nice ground, but its just that SMALL!! Its a good place to watch the ships go by so long as its not raining and windy.
