Poor old Welling

Recommended Posts

It seems that Welling have appointed Bill Williams as their new manager.

Administration beckons?

The world of soccer is indeed a bizarre one .

I suppose Stephen Byers and Mandellson turned down the chance to manage the Wings and of course Maxwell has already topped himself .

Did Venables apply ? He's good at losing money quickly .

Nick Leeson was apparently second on the short list.

As for Williams we've got him in as football manager, not general manager.

Ah but he was football manager at Kingstonian when the went into administration, and Dover were teetering on the edge when he left.

Good Luck, you are going to need it.

I thought he was Director of Football at Kingstonian. Besides they must have been deep in the steamy stuff before he even joined them.

By the way, the Woking message board reckons their midfielder Steve Perkins is in discussion with the Fleet.
