Tomorrow afternoon, my soul mate, my love, my lover, the greatest love of my life, Huddersfield Town are playing MK Dons at the Galpharm Stadium (formally known as the McApline Stadium) Huddersfield.

 

Not 10 miles down the road, my 'mistress', Gravesend & Northfleet are at Halifax Town (bless). The Question is Fleet fans, 'WHAT DO, I DO? I'm in a total tizzzzzzeeeeewwwwwwww! - Do I follow my love or do I stray to my mistress?

 

THE CHOICE IS YOURS! The only thing I ask is, please say why!

 

I promise to make a decision on what you say - honest! But I will decide at 11am tomorrow morning!

I would definately watch the Fleet which means you should watch Huddersfield.

Its great that you still follow our results and try to watch us when we are "oop north" but we all understand that Huddersfield are your team and you should put them first.

...and ..Huddersfield will win easily hopefully.....so Halifax v Fleet

I was thinking in 24 hour clock mode (railway brain) so naturally selected 11 without any regard to am/pm.

I know I said 11am was 'decision time' but having just spoken to two of my mates I've already decided.

 

In short, they've given me so much grief at the prospect of missing the Terriers home game today without an adequate excuse i.e. severe illness, near death or death itself I've decided to go to the Huddersfield Town v MK Dons game.

 

I am truly sorry that my nearest Fleet game clashes with this and will be writing to the fixtures compilors about avoiding this in future.

 

The only plus point is I'll be able to hear some commentary over local radio while I'm at our game.

 

Here's to 6pts between us.
