Funnily enough, I was reading up on Spurs' 2-0 (2-1 agg.) win over Bayern in '83 last night. Did you go to either of those two games??

Not great. Juventus beat them 1 - 0 home and away, and Oliver Khans always good for a cockup.

Saw Bayern v VFB Stuttgart last Saturday - the standard of football was very poor at time - VFB were much the better side. Bayern had a shakey defence that got caught in posession too often, particularly Kuffor who got hauled off at half time. Hargreaves was very disappointing. Improved in the second half and Bayern came back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 - Kahn made one howler for the second goal but Pizzaro and Guerro (who came on) were good and both scored decent goals. Very hard to work out what formation they played as well.

 

Cannot remember the whole team but it included - Kahn, Kuffor, Lucio (who they payed Leverkusen a lot for) Hargreaves, Ballack, Ze Roberto, Pizzaro - on the bench they had Guerro, Diesler, Jeremies and Schweinstiger - all internationals
