So let me get this right.

 

Ilford: Top of a level 5 league.

ETFC: Top of a level 5 league

 

Fair play to Mr Fenn who seems to be doing a good job at Ilford but why would we regret not keeping hold of him? He had a disappointing spell (I'm sure he'd admit as much) as a player at ETFC and moved on. He seemed like a nice enough bloke and good luck to him. But I think we'll stick with what we've got for now ta very much.

 

How are things in East London anyway? Lonely?

Is he actually playing for Ilford or just managing? If he is playing then I expect he has someone quick alongside him. Fenn's experience and positional sense are excellent but he ain't the only player you can say that about. In our team, OK he might not have got the breaks he should, but we needed someone quicker.

And, as someone else has pointed out, we are also top of a Level 5 league.

I really dont see why you are posting to this BB. It seems to me that you must be nickynomates and no wonder.

 

You are asking Town fans to travel through either Walthamstow or Tottenham to watch a penny ante team with a chairman who has no idea about sport or community enterprise. Sues his rivals and doesn't allow true fans to mix.

 

If we went to Leyton no doubt we would be penned in again like caged animals.

If you actually bothered to do some research you would know that comment cannot really be substantiated. From Jim's stats page.

league games only...261 (last season 253) (History 275)"

 

And we have yet to play concorde. A game where we hope we will be able to display the league championship trophy.

Hearing things may give you an opinion but stats speak the truth. Town have a loyal and vocal following. All Latent have is a scum chairthing with a bit of cash to throw around. When he gets bored or runs out of cash, you'll soon see your 'wonderful' football club drop down the non-league pyramid again.
