That's what Dover, and Cheshunt said last season and look at them now.....This league is not a doddle!

Be afraid, be VERY afraid.........

But best of luck, anyway - look forward to seeing you!

Please ignore the original post. Whilst the enthusiasm of the man is admiral the realities are that we are still laden with a transfer embargo which is rather worrying for the start of the season, though we have been told that this will be ironed out befoe then. Maybe the team we have from last season will excell in the Ryman and that they alone could be up there at the end of the season. But to be honest we are all just happy to be getting back home and playing in front of our home crowds again. We are not underestimating the strength of the Ryman at all. We all know its going to be hard to get promotion back immediately but after two years without a ground things should be more to our advantage next season. I fancied Billericay last year and I felt they were one of the better prospects. Who knows how AFC Wimbledon will fair this year. They may not be as strong as some people may believe and therefore the league should be a close call unless big big signings are made by some club in the meantime. We will welcome you all to our ground(though temporary as we are still awaiting a final decision for an upgrade to a superior stadium from the council). Hope we do ourselves justice and that friendliness all round prevails with club to club both home and away.

Embargo lifted. Pitch laid and growing (need more water though) now all we need is a team. No news on that front yet. Kinnear not used to having money to play with lately, until NOW. New Sponsor(3 yrs). Things are looking rosier than before and those 16/1 odds on us taking the league, though its still early days, may be worthwhile taking NOW. I see Fisher's odds have been cut from 14/1 to 11/2 2nd favs.
