If any of you have bookmarked the news page directly, please note that the address has changed from www.gnfc.co.uk/news.html to www.gnfc.co.uk/news.php and you should change your bookmarks accordingly.

 

The link from the front page of the official site has been changed and I am slowly amending the links from the other pages, so please bear with me.

I've now updated a number of the links so that you will be able to reach the news page and the new fixtures page from the majority of the most frequently used pages.

 

Both these pages are now database driven which will mean that updating the pages will be much easier for me, and in time the club will be able to update the news page directly from the club office.

 

If you go to the new style page you will see the latest news regarding the work in the Northfleet end. (If you don't see it then you are probably on the old page)

Nice to see an update from the club on the Northfleet End. While the club can be blamed for not always being forthright with information, it is of course the case that they cannot be blamed for the redevelopment delays, as it was inevitable that they'd have to wait for the news on the grant before it was financially viable to proceed.

 

One question about the article, though - Brian states that there would only be a 'problem' - presumably regarding our ground satisfying Conference criteria, although this isn't stated explicitly and I may have falsely inferred this - if no work at all were done to the Northfleet End. I was under the impression that the ground satisfied the necessary criteria even with that terrace closed, so clarification on this would be appreciated.
