Think we have a pretty strong squad of 20 odd players when you look at it.

Only comment i would make is that imo Gradley, Deen and Kola are our best players and first on the team sheets.

Gradley was superb end of last season and start of this-real class, and Deen patrolling in defensive midfield takes so much pressure off the defence.Thats been badly missed when he has had to cover for Kola, and has meant the oppositon have more attacking chances as Deen not in midfield to cut them out early

Team A:

Mitten,

Oates, Edwards Keister,Kola, Green

Gradley Deen, Standen

Remy, Hilaire

Team B:

Egan,

Brown Ryan Mcgowan Sacha,

Sesay Burke

Watson Braithwaite.

Can't really put Annon in as don't think he has signed, and think it is a bit unclear re: Corbett .

I would now regard our best team as :

Mitten

Oates Edwards Kola Green or Ryan

Deen

McGowan Gradley Sacha

Remy Braithwaite

subs: Brown Egan Ryan or Green Watson Standen

Not that CK would ever play 4 at back, but that is what i would go fo.

Close call on current form between Ryan and Green at left back

Deen must play in defensive midfield to cut out 50% o balls getting to defence.

Brown unlucky not to make starting line up and Hilaire and Sesay unlucky not to make subs bench_too many good players !!!!

[color:"blue"] Team for Saturday

Mitten

Oates Edwards Ryan Deen Green

Brown McGowan Sacha

Remy Hillaire

subs: Egan + (in order of use) Burke, Sesay, Standen, Watson.

Watson & Standen are horribly out of form, Keister, Kola, Gradley, Braithwaite unavailable.

I hope Chris is looking for a versatile defender or two (even if it's on loan). As Tuesday showed us we're short in numbers for defenders at the moment.

Went to Bromley the other night liked the pole!

But the team lack creativity and were suprisingly dodgy in defence.

Really need more quality to turn some of the draws in to wins. The first half was preety dire hoofing it up the park sunday league style.

Just out of interest, are you a tall chap? Were you standing round the side at Bromley with a child? Think I may have been near you, that's all.

Flippin heck this is weird...
5 11 and my kids stayed at home. But i was standing down the side in ist half next to a tall man with child in front of the seats.
2nd half behind the goal with a couple of friends and their girlfriends.

PS Im also exceptionally good looking if this helps at all!!!!.

I reckon CK's team will be:

Mitten

Oates Deen Edwards Ryan Green

Sacha McGowan Standen

Remy Braithwaite

And i hope to be wrong but i reckon it will be a mad game with us losing 4-3 to a late goal and 2 sendings off .

The team i would play assuming Kola is not fit would be :

Mitten

Oates Edwards Ryan Green

Deen

Brown McGowan Sacha

Remy Braithwaite.

I hope Deen is played defensive midfield-play your key players in their best and natural position rather than weaken their effect by playing them in a compromise role- as opposed to defence, as i have come to conclusion that the defence is consistently poor so the best way to prevent it is to cut the balls out to defence and thus let Deen cut alot out in defensive midfield ,and trust that Brown and Sacha can do the same either side of midfield and thus cutting out the crosses which we can't seem to defend.

Central defence looks weak, but i think Ryan will grow in stature given responsibility, and again the secret of improving the defenece is to stop the balls before they reach defence

Up the 'Gate-lets have a win today-win ugly but just win.

We start nil nil-don't lose the nil.

And every other cliche you can think of.

Win is so important today as i think this is realistically our only chance of 'glory' /success this season; so a win vital for the prize money and to keep the interest going;as i don't think we will be quite good enough for the play-offs.

C'mon the 'Gate
