i heard that it woz to do with £ care to say why that is lovely stuff i thought u didnt pay your players anyway a good player he'll go ware his talents are appreciated

His departute may have something to do with the fact that he was looking increasingly ineffective for Town in competetive games,following some promising performances in the friendlies.

 

I think he looked over his shoulder,saw five strikers all vying for a starting place,and at the age of 30, didn't fancy that sort of competition at a new club.

 

He's back in familar surroundings,with players he knows,and has been offered a coaching role.Everyone at Enfield Town wish Richard well, but we will certainly not be weakened by his departure.

Nice lad.Tall,athletic,decent in the air,holds the ball up quite well.Unfortunatly ,i don't think he will get on the scoresheet on a regular basis.He may work as a foil for Clarkey,but don't expect 15 goals a season out of him.

I take it maurice never got a sniff at playing for town then . But danny clarke seems rejuvenated. He turned up towards the end of last season and has worked his way back in .His pace was awesome yesterday.

Danny is fit,fast,direct.He has his faults also,but he will score regulary for you.He could be the difference between top half and bottom 5 .Thats if you can keep him fit and happy.The later will probably prove more difficult than the first.

 

Maurice hasn't been able to get a place in the 16 at Town this year,but that is down to the amount of players we have rather than any failing on his part. I know Waltham Abbey were keen to sign him.

Again Maurice will be good signing for you! He likes a traditional Centre Forward type role and is a goal poacher. In the words of Delboy you can do a lot worse than that! I like Maurice and Steph will be disappointed he has gone but it is understandable.
